About Us
Learn Spanish In Colombia was set up by a Brit living in Bogotá and a Colombian living in London. We’ve both lived in other countries and had to learn the language from scratch, so we know what you need when you arrive here and to help you learn Spanish and adapt to the culture as quickly as possible.
Who Are We?
Jennifer
I grew up in Bogotá, the capital city of Colombia, but I’ve also lived in London for one year, so I know what it’s like to be in a different country with a new language. I am passionate about traveling, coffee chats, sustainability, marketing and businesses.
In me you can find a friend and a person who will be available when you need it. We want you to feel around people who care about your experience, so we’ll there for you.
I’ve also travelled around many parts of Colombia, so I’ll tell you the best places to go and how to get there. If you need to know how something works here, I’m always happy to help you out.
The Teachers
We have a number of teachers in each city. We vet all our teachers to make sure they have good accents, know their stuff when it comes to the Spanish language, and are generally cool people to spend time with. (After all, as you’ll be talking for 10 hours each week, we want to make sure you have someone interesting to speak to!)
